The Global Ambassadors organization was founded on March 2, 2003 by Kibra Abraham to fill a space she saw for young African kids to express their talnt and provide educational ans cultural inspiration to others.
With foundation based on the need for African unity and development, this group attemts to provoke and challenge African peopleto reach for the highest goals and principles and to bond with other peoples under our common humanity.
The Ambassadors are agroup of Ethiopian youth thatuse native Ethiopian culture , including Ethiopian language,poems,and songs,Ethiopian dances,and Afro-centric rituals to promot culturalharmony among peoples. Their performances seek to emphasize the need for African unity , unity among peoples generally,and the need for peaples from all cultures to learn and share from each other and to share from each other and to celebrate our differnces rather than let them be a barrier.
Asthe performances illustrate with the courage of the young performers peaples from all walks of life speak the same language of respect, love of family, and pride in one's nation.
